ability to turn of "activity log" from the front/landing page

I would like to suggest to have the ability to turn of or maybe put the activity log somewhere else than from the landing page. I think it mess up the nice look to always see many lines of activity for one part and when I need it for something the I have to look meny lines down to see the component i did before the last entered.

Could be usefull that you could decise which activtivty types should be shown on the page. But I don't think such info as now should be on the front page for the whole solution

In the system settings you can customize the elements of the front page. Change their order and hide them completely

I have been looking for such features. And cant still see them. Can you be more precise of where to find this? Maybe it is under admin rights or?

The "homepage items" option.

I'm running it from portainer. I dont have any customization page?

Your user needs the "Change System settings" permission, otherwise you can not access that page.

Or you are running a very old Part-DB version < 2.0.0

OK found it. I have been doing a lot of this config using ENV variables in portainer. Nice to know this is how to get into there

its like I can't save any settings changed on these now new "System settings" settings at all

Can the cause be that I also have ENV variables for config set in Portainer for this PartDb stack? I can save anything to the settings I now have visible thanks to you Jan

Problem solved. I looked in the portainer log file. It showed that the currency setting for TME provider was incorrect. Even though I have been using it for a long time before I enable the config pages. I changed it from DKK to EUR and then the config pages can now save the settings withou the "500 Internal Server Error"
